Jenelle Evans Opens Up About Everything: Marriage Counseling, CPS, And The Future of Her Family

Jenelle Evans is still recovering from getting her tubes tied.

Jenelle Evans is opening up about everything that’s happening in her life recently — especially having her children removed from the home she shares with David Eason after Child Protective Services in North Carolina determined that to be the right course of action last week.
Mother’s Day was especially tough for Evans this year, as her son Kaiser was picked up by CPS back on Friday, in response to concern over Eason’s killing of Evans’ french bulldog Nugget in the home several weeks ago. And now, the momma of three is speaking out about it — and she has a LOT to say…

The former Teen Mom star spoke to Us Weekly on Tuesday, clearly sounding devastated and uncertain about the little one being taken away from the home — as well as her older son, Jace, who lives with Evans’ mom Barbara, being prevented from coming to the home for the time being.

Kaiser’s Removal

According to Jenelle herself, Kaiser’s removal was controversial because it occurred without her consent or knowledge (which maybe was kind of the point?), and she claims she wasn’t kept in the loop at all before he was abruptly taken from her.
She explained (below):

“Kaiser was taken away Friday without my consent, before Mother’s Day, and I have been in touch with my lawyer pertaining this matter. Kaiser was taken from his daycare by his grandmother [Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris] with no notice or call to me. CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me.”

We already know CPS is concerned about removing two-year-old Ensley from the house because of David’s temper, and the firepower he has there is a danger to law enforcement, so doesn’t it make sense that authorities would work away from Jenelle to remedy the situation for the children they could help??
Anyways…

Working With Nathan?

Through it all, Nathan apparently has been on Jenelle’s side this time around — which, judging from their past relationship, is something of a miracle in and of itself.
Evans opened up about how helpful he’s been to her, revealing to the mag (below):

“Nathan and I have talked briefly regarding this situation. [He] and I are to appear in court later this month. Our current custody order is still in place. Nathan is to have supervised visits and only supervised by Doris. Surprisingly, me and Nathan have been getting along, so I’m willing to maybe let his visits be unsupervised. Me and Nathan have been in contact during all of this. He doesn’t want Kaiser taken from me. My legal team has been on this since it [occurred]. I’ve been fighting to get my son back, as they went behind my back and removed him without my consent.”

Interesting!
Also interesting to hear how the former reality TV star is dangling unsupervised visits in front of Griffith like she indicates here. Could that maybe affect how positive he’s been to her, and how strongly he appears to be on her side?? Just sayin’…

Back On The Home front…

Meanwhile, things are touch-and-go back home with David and the kids who ARE still there: little Ensley, as well as Eason’s older daughter Maryssa from a previous relationship, who David still homeschools.
Jenelle explains more about the status of her marriage (below):

“My relationship with David now is still in a healing process, of course. We are going to start going to marriage counseling because he feels as if we both need it. I completely agree. Not considering divorce unless he refuses counseling with me.”

As well as Maryssa’s reaction to all of this bad publicity (below):

“David has full custody over her and still homeschools her. Maryssa has been with us since everything has been going down. She is frustrated with the media she sees online about her father because she knows the truth what goes on in our household.”

There’s a lot to unpack in THAT quote, isn’t there? Plus, the thought of David as a homeschool teacher…

Anyways, there’s more here on the status of Jace — who it was initially reported was ordered by CPS to stay away from the house, and who apparently is now just being kept away by Jenelle’s mom Barbara (below):

“My mom is keeping Jace from me, nobody else. I only had Ensley with me for Mother’s Day this year. And my mom is taking it out on me for being let go from MTV.”

Whew. A lot to take in! And a LOT of turnover and turmoil in that North Carolina home Evans and Eason share…

Rumors, Rumors, Rumors…

Above it all, Jenelle claims that there’s a lot of #FakeNews flying around out there, and while some of that may be true, it’s pretty clear there are more than a few problems this family needs to solve after Eason’s temper once again got the best of him.
Evans tries to play it all down as rumors (below), attempting to walk back some of the gossip as best she can:

“At this time, I want to focus on what’s best for myself and my family. My lawyer has been advising me on what to do and what has gone wrong in this whole situation. Any rumors that come out, I would like for everyone to just step back and think, ’Is this from Jenelle? No, it’s not true.’ I’m very open with the public and my life and will continue to be. Right now, I need this time to just hang out with my family. I need them so bad right now.”

Hmmm…
We certainly feel for her right now. This is a VERY tough situation, and she didn’t cause it — Eason’s horrific actions towards Nugget were the impetus for ALL this drama — so we certainly understand if she feels like life is spinning a little too fast around her right now.
Still, though, something needs to change in that household… whether it be counseling, or further CPS involvement, or even bigger decisions like divorce or whatever. For now, all we can do is hope that David — and the rest of the family — gets the help and support they so desperately seem to need.
