Finally we’re seeing some really good news in the ongoing saga of Jenelle Evans and her scariest husband.
David Eason has been a scary, gun-hoarding, beard-but-no-mustache homophobe for quite some time. But it wasn’t until recently that everyone caught on to just how dangerous he was.
His recent self-confessed (bragged, really) slaughter of adopted French bulldog Nugget crossed a line, and not just for us.
We’d hoped this would mean Jenelle would leave David and take those kids with her… unfortunately she went right back, even after admitting she believed he was a “cruel” man.

On Monday we learned Child Protective Services in North Carolina had quietly removed Jenelle’s sons from the home.
Nine-year-old Jace is with his grandmother Barbara (though as Teen Mom fans know he was living there most of the time anyway), but CPS has officially cut off all visits at Jenelle’s home because of Eason’s presence there, and she must now go to Barbara’s or public places to see her oldest during visitation. Four-year-old Kaiser is also with a grandparent, poppa Nathan Griffiths‘ mother.
But those boys were Jenelle’s. They were under David’s care (*shiver*), but they weren’t his blood.
According to reports, things got dicier when it came to two-year-old Ensley, Jenelle and David’s only child together, and Maryssa, David’s 11-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
The worry was when David’s own children were taken, he might do something violent. Frankly, agents were scared to even go on the property!
Which to us seems as good a reason as any to remove those girls from the home…
Well, we’re happy to share the news both girls are now OUT OF THE HOME!
According to multiple reports, a North Carolina judge dropped the hammer, ruling the kids were indeed at risk.
A source told Radar Online:
“Ensley has been placed. Maryssa has also been taken.”
Whew!
According to Us Weekly‘s sources, the girls are both safe with their grandmother. Yes, that means David’s mother.
We have to assume she was willing to take them in because she knows better than most how scary her freakin’ son is.
Thankfully David has not gotten violent.
But the parents ARE fighting this.
According to Radar‘s source, Jenelle is planning to fight CPS in court:
“A court-appointed attorney is being given to each child.”
Oof, we feel so bad for these poor kids. But they’re better off away from danger! They just are!
Will Jenelle choose David over them, if that’s what it comes down to? Radar‘s source says:
“Jenelle is meeting with the kids at social services this afternoon. It is supervised visitation. She asked, and they are going to allow it.”
Yeah, this may not get violent, but it’s going to be messy.
