Jenelle Evans Returns To North Carolina Home Where Husband David Eason Shot & Killed Her Dog

Jenelle Evans returns home to David Eason

Jenelle Evans is returning home… but to what, exactly?
The Teen Mom 2 star has gone back to the rural Columbus County, North Carolina farm house she shares with husband David Eason for the first time since leaving days after he shot and brutally killed her French bulldogNugget.

The reality TV star posted pics on her Instagram Stories on Sunday afternoon of her collecting eggs from the family’s chicken coop and brewing up coffee back in the kitchen. (FWIW, by Monday morning, it appears Jenelle had removed her Instagram page entirely.) Seeking confirmation, a source further tipped off Us Weekly that Evans was, in fact, back at home with Eason — and her children were there, as well.
This marks the first time Evans has returned home since fleeing Eason after Nugget’s death along with her two-year-old daughter Ensley, and her four-year old son Kaiser. Her third child, nine-year-old Jace, has been on a cruise with Evans’ mom Barbara all week, and out of the house anyways.

Back Home… Bigger Problems

As if being back home with Eason isn’t trouble enough — even though Jenelle swears she is not afraid of the short-tempered man — there may be more legal trouble on the horizon regarding Nugget’s death.
According to a report in The Blast, both David AND Jenelle are officially under investigation by Child Protective Services in North Carolina after the agency received an anonymous complaint that children in the home could be in danger following the dog’s passing.
Apparently, the person who reported the couple to CPS believes strongly that the children — specifically two-year-old Ensley — could develop PTSD, depression, or other mental health illnesses from having witnessed Eason’s violent actions towards the animal last week. In response, the CPS division of Columbus County Social Service has reportedly “jumped into action” to investigate and follow up.

This investigation is separate from the animal cruelty allegations Eason is facing right now, as we reported this weekend. CPS now looking into the family is a new and particularly unsettling development, considering a worst-case scenario for Jenelle would be a de facto punishment for her as a mother; it’s possible her children could be removed from the home despite her having nothing to do with Nugget’s death.
Regardless, this whole thing is as messy as it gets right now with multiple investigations underway and sources claiming family members inside the home are still too afraid to rat on Eason to tell cops everything that happened with Nugget.
What a homecoming for Jenelle…
