Almost all week we have been trying to wrap our heads around this horrifying story — now Jenelle Evans is trying to set the record straight.
In case you haven’t heard, the news broke on Tuesday the Teen Mom 2 star’s husband David Eason had killed their dog.
According to an inside source, the little French bulldog Nugget snapped at their 2-year-old daughter Ensley, and that was too much for David — who reportedly took the dog out and shot and killed it.

That alone was so shocking, we weren’t sure what to think — though considering Eason’s past behavior, it was a little easier to believe, disturbing as it was.
Then Eason appeared to CONFESS on social media, even sounding proud of being willing to “killing and die” for his family.
Soon after Jenelle herself confirmed reports, telling Us Weekly directly:
“David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods… about two acres away from the house.”
She even told the outlet divorce was on the table.
However, after being so forthcoming Jenelle is now lashing out at media reports about the incident — and her resulting marriage problems.
She posted to Instagram Story on Friday pointing to an outlet which thought she had cancer (WTF?) and calling the reports David had returned from the killing covered in blood nothing but “fake news”:
“This is one of the craziest rumors ever… no one has saw my dog and neither have I since the incident.”
Did we miss something? We’re not sure how seeing the dog has anything to do with seeing David.
Jenelle’s most vehement (i.e. ALL CAPS) denial was regarding reports she was scared of her husband. She wrote:
“I AM NOT AFRAID TO DEATH OF ANYONE OR ANYTHING RIGHT NOW… IM HEARTBROKEN. STOP WRITING LIES ABOUT ME.”
Um, you can certainly be both, but OK. All we have to say is, we are certainly scared for anyone or anything near David Eason.
Jenelle does once again confirm she’s considering divorce:
“YES MARRIAGE IS UP IN THE AIR AT THIS POINT.”
However, she wants to clarify she didn’t pack her bags and leave because she’s afraid of what David might do:
“I HAVE ONLY BEEN AWAY FROM HOME BECAUSE I’M HURT AND UPSET. PLEASE PLEASE STOP.”
Right. Hurt and upset because he KILLED YOUR DOG. You aren’t also worried about what he might do in the future??
She may not call it fear, but we think there is concern there. She also told Us:
“David and I are not on talking terms. I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends.”
If you think the person you’re around is “very cruel” you definitely should be scared.
