Jennifer Lawrence returned to the set of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay after the passing of Philip Seymour Hoffman, and she looked about as sad as if someone told her District 12 was destroyed.
This heroine’s spirits must be crushed to hear about her co-star’s recently lost battle to an addiction he’s been battling for years, especially since one final, emotional scene still had to be shot with PSH.
We’d imagine every actor is at a loss knowing they can never share a scene with this exceptional artist.
Panem, the entertainment community, the Hunger Games cast and crew, and the whole world are mourning the loss of so elegant and skilled a performer as Philip!
We hope he’s at peace with the old Gamemaker upstairs.
