Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have a lot to consider amid their highly-publicized divorce!
On Saturday, the estranged couple shocked fans by reuniting at the Beverly Hills Hotel with their blended family in tow. J.Lo had her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, while Ben had Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12. However Violet, 18, who we all know developed an unbreakable bond with her step momma, was noticeably absent as she’s off studying in her first year of college.

It was a reunion no one expected to see amid all the reports that Ben feels liberated from their relationship and since Jen has been living the single girl life! But things got even WILDER as reports claimed that once inside, the Gigli co-stars were “holding hands and kissing”! Like, WHAT?! What in the world is going on?! Well, a new source is attempting to explain.
On Sunday, an insider told People that the unexpected reunion for a “fun lunch” was more so for their kids — and that the exes are still pursuing their divorce. The source spilled:
“They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out. [Jennifer’s] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably.”
Inneresting! We know the kiddos ended up developing close connections throughout Ben and Jen’s relationship, so this explanation certainly makes sense… Also for why the Jenny from the Block singer is “trying to be friendly” and would even agree to see Ben at all after he did her so dirty! But what there was no mention of was the alleged “hand holding and kissing.” We mean, we all know that breakups are tough and just because they end doesn’t necessarily mean all the feelings do, so who knows. Maybe they just got caught up in the moment! It’s not confirmed whether they really even did engage in the PDA, but the insider did tell People:
“A divorce is never easy, but Jennifer doesn’t want to be selfish about it. The kids always got along and have fun together. It makes her happy seeing the kids happy together. Happy kids are her priority.”
That’s a great priority to have!
