Jennifer Lopez wants some new digs!
The $60+ million mansion she and now-estranged husband Ben Affleck went in on together was a total s**t show as far as their relationship was concerned. Ben never loved the place, and the second he was able to, he bounced from it… and from their marriage. Oof. But now, J.Lo is back on the market again! The real estate market!
According to TMZ, the Waiting For Tonight crooner is in negotiations to buy the famed Azria Estate in the Holmby Hills area of El Lay. Negotiations are apparently going well, and she’s close to closing!
The estate includes a 30,000-square foot mansion on three acres. It’s got 14 (!) bedrooms, a greenhouse, a guesthouse, an infinity pool, a sauna, a game room, and a theater. And J.Lo might be getting a deal! It was originally listed for $55 million, but sources told the news outlet the singer’s team is working to negotiate the price to between $30 million and $39 million.

But… there’s a BIG catch. The estate is super-famous for being the home of late BCBG founder Max Azria. Max died back in 2019, and earlier this year, the estate was put up for auction. A billionaire investor named Ron Burkle nailed the winning bid at $30 million… and then didn’t get the house! He filed a lawsuit against Max’s widow Lubov Azria over breach of contract, and they’ve been fighting ever since.

Enter J.Lo! The singing superstar suddenly got interested in the home, and in the last few weeks, TMZ reports she has taken multiple tours. Now, she is said to be negotiating with the widow Azria and Burkle. Damn! A three-way battle!
But there’s more to unpack! For one, the Azria estate was used as a filming location for her movie Atlas, so J.Lo may have a bit of a sentimental connection to it. AND she and Ben actually considered buying it together in March of last year when they were first on the market for their married home! Crazy!!!
Oh, and there’s even MORE to unpack! The estate shares a property line with… Diddy‘s mansion! You know, the one that got raided by Homeland Security! Thankfully he turned around and put on the market after his shocking fall from grace — so she wouldn’t be living next to an ex! (Other neighbors include Jimmy Iovine, Sean Parker, and Tom Ford, BTW. What a neighborhood!)
