Jeremy Renner and his baby momma are at odds, once again.
The Avengers star’s ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, is reportedly seeking sole legal and physical custody of their daughter, Ava. Per court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Pacheco filed her plea in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, on Tuesday, September 10.
The Canadian actress is also requesting monitored visitation when Renner is with their child.

Sonni is scheduled to submit documentation backing up her request for a change in the couple’s existing agreement at a court hearing on November 7, the outlet reports.
This is tough news for Jeremy, who’s openly expressed how much he loves being a father and enjoys spending time with his six-year-old.
In fact, last year in January, the Hawkeye actor opened up to the Independent about how he prioritized being a dad above everything else in life. He said:
“Being a father is number one. That’s what keeps me focused, and not worrying about whether movies may or may not come my way.”
And shortly after his little one’s birth, he gushed about the joys of fatherhood to Capitol File. At the time, he told the outlet:
“It’s the best thing I have ever done — doing it later on in life. By then, I achieved a lot of things that I wanted to achieve. I’m so blessed for that. Now I cant really spend time with my family. The only thing I think about when I’m not with my baby is, ‘How do I get to my baby?’ I need to get to her, and I’m very miserable when I don’t see her. I really love being a father.”
We were under the impression things were all good between Ava’s parents too, especially after they appeared to sort out their child support and divorce drama back in September 2016.
If you’ll recall, the 28-year-old accused The Town star of neglecting to keep up his monetary side of the bargain by skipping out on his $13,000 monthly installments. After a nasty legal battle over their divorce, Renner agreed to pay $16,000 a month in support and to cover Miz Pacheco’s $24,000 lawyer and accountant fees. At the time, the A-lister was able to maintain shared custody.
We can only wonder what must have changed between now and then…
The Mission Impossible actor and Sonni secretly got married back in September 2014, just one year after welcoming their kid to the world in 2013. Pacheco filed for divorce 10 months later, citing irreconcilable differences.
In the wake of their split, a source previously told the outlet Renner was worried his estranged wife would flee the country with their child. Commenting on the former couple’s dynamic, the source shared:
“It wasn’t traditional. But he was hopeful they could make it work for Ava. He was devastated.”
Considering his devotion to parenthood, we have a feeling Jeremy won’t take this whole thing lying down. However, we hope these former flames can settle this as amicably as possible for the sake of everyone involved!
