Jersey Shore Family Vacation returned for a brand new season on Thursday night, and boy, they sure know how to pick up right where they left off with the high-stakes drama and flared tempers!
The premiere last night centered on the cast heading to Vegas to get in whatever trouble they can find, but things really focused on life back home for Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and his on-again/off-again girlfriend Jen Harley.

In the episode, we see what happened behind-the-scenes as Jen goes into labor while Ronnie is on a press tour with the rest of his Jersey Shore cast — not an easy thing to miss out on, bro!!
(As we know, of course, Jen would wind up fully healthy through delivery, giving birth to their daughter Ariana Sky back on April 3.)
Anyways, back on the show, the birth’s aftermath is something to see: a bitter fight between Ronnie and Jen escalates into a full-out social media battle, and Ortiz-Magro struggles throughout the episode trying to play peacemaker after the first big blowout. (He even turns down an invite to a strip club! Really, Ron?! This is Jersey Shore, bro!!)
After a few up-and-down days of partying, fighting, and making up, Ronnie finally comes clean about what’s really going on with Jen: he believes she’s capable of taking Ariana away from him.
The rest of the cast is shocked, not knowing up until that point exactly what Ron was going through, but he reveals it to them straight (below):
“I don’t want to say anything bad about Jen because she’s the mother of my daughter. But she’s got a lot of issues with me being in the house right now. She told me. She’s like, I don’t trust you, I don’t want you in the house. I haven’t been straightforward with my roommates. Me and Jen fight all the time, and there’s nothing stable … I’m scared of losing my f**king daughter. Jen, she’s irrational. She’s capable of taking the baby and going away.”
At that point, he reveals to the rest of the cast that he’s been prevented from seeing Ariana Sky already for as many as six days at a time, adding (below):
“I won’t even know where my daughter is. It’s crazy. I’m going through hell with her.”
Everybody — except for Jenni Farley, who has been vocal about liking Harley — buys it, and tries to offer Ronnie legal and relationship advice, but he’s not trying to hear it.

Jenni nevertheless comes over the top with some reality for the situation, pointing out to Ron that he’s just as guilty for causing social media drama in his relationship as his baby momma may be (below):
“Hold on, really? So why the f**k are you on Instagram trying to bait her as well? Do you want my honest opinion? Leave [Harley] and fight for your daughter, and then go get help. Go to the court. Go get a lawyer. You gotta take responsibility. You f**ked a crazy b*tch! You got a crazy b*tch pregnant!”
DAMN!!!
She’s not wrong, though…
And if this is how much Ron-Jen drama we see just in the first episode… get ready for a WILD ride this season on Jersey Shore Family Vacation, y’all!!
