Is this the reason Jessica Simpson is considering divorce?
On Monday, the singer teased she’s working on new music… solo! The cryptic post seemed like a sign she was splitting from her husband Eric Johnson, and sources then told TMZ that people close to the actress have reached out to multiple LA-based divorce lawyers! Jessica had not attended any meetings with them yet, per the insiders. Still, one did back the theory she was unhappy in her relationship. Could this new intel be why?

On Tuesday, a source told ET that Eric has been causing trouble, dishing:
“[There have been] rumors and rumblings about Eric being overly flirtatious during their relationship — especially when he drinks.”
Uh-oh. That’s not great! It also doesn’t help that this is happening “when he drinks.” We didn’t even realize he was still drinking — considering the fashion designer has been sober for seven years. It was a huge deal for her to quit, so having him still drinking — and acting in a way that doesn’t always feel loyal to her? That must be complicating matters even more.
So, how’s Jessica feeling about this? Well, per the source it’s been hard for her to “navigate their marital issues on top of trying to take care of herself and family,” including children Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 12, Ace Knute, 11, and Birdie Mae, 5. Oh no! Life is so busy with young kids — and worrying about how they’ll do with a potential divorce makes this kind of decision more challenging. Unfortunately, it sounds like things really could be headed toward Splitsville, though…
