Are Jessica Simpson and her hubby headed for divorce??
Fans are running wild with speculation over the status of the I Wanna Love You Forever singer and her husband Eric Johnson’s current marital status after she took to Instagram with an undeniably cryptic post on Monday. Alongside a carousel of photos of the 44-year-old in black boots, a white dress, and a black fur coat, she wrote:
“Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic.”
“Singular magic”?? That’s certainly a choice of words to use while married! But we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt… We mean, getting married doesn’t mean the end of all individuality, so she could just be talking about finding that again amid her long-awaited return to the music scene. But then she took things a step further… The Irresistible singer added:
“This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve”

What does THAT mean?? What exactly did she put up with?! We guess that’s a hint she’ll sing about it in her new music, but for the time being, fans have been trying to piece together the puzzle with many believing she’s hinting at the end of her marriage. In the comments, users wrote things like:
“Is this j simp saying she’s single ?”
“Are you talking about your husband?”
“Sounds like a breakup album to me! It’s always been strange I felt like something was holding you back”
“It’s National Singles Day, queen”
“You are so Beautiful and Honest. It takes awhile to figure it all out, but when you do it feels good”
Others pointed out she hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring in recent posts, while many just gushed about the idea of new music coming from the With You singer. As of now, neither Jessica nor Eric have commented on their marital status… But Jess’ sister has!
On Tuesday, TMZ shared footage of Ashlee Simpson walking with husband Evan Ross before a paparazzi asks her if she’s heard about the divorce speculation and if she knows whether it’s “true.” The 40-year-old firmly responds “No,” but that could either mean “no” as in they’re NOT divorcing, or “no” as in she doesn’t know.
