Singer turned actress Jill Scott told Essence‘s editor-in-chief Angela Burt-Murray that she thinks her May magazine cover is unflattering.

How?

But the mag sees nothing wrong with it as a spokeswoman said: “We love the May cover, and readers have responded favorably to the image that was pre-tested.”
