This sounds like a ceremony Joan Rivers would DEFINITELY have approved of!
The comedienne’s funeral service was held today in New York City at Temple Emanu-El, and by all accounts, it was perfection!
Our sources tell us that Hugh Jackman got up on stage and sang a tribute, and Howard Stern kept the crowd laughing, which we have to imagine is exactly what she would have wanted!
There were thousands of people outside, paying their respects, and inside, her celeb friends like Sarah Jessica Parker, Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, and many others were there. Her fellow Fashion Police critic Kelly Osbourne was in attendance and was very emotional about the sudden passing of her friend. Luckily, she had Rosie O’Donnell there to comfort her.
By all accounts, it was an “astoundingly beautiful ceremony!”
Joan, you are loved and deeply missed!
