Trouble in the land down under!
Joel Madden has certainly been family-friendly lately, what with his work on The Voice Australia and his life of raising his own family with Nicole Richie.
But he just got caught in a very non-family-friendly incident, and it’s gotten him evicted!
He was reportedly just booted from The Darling Hotel, where he’s staying in Sydney, Australia while filming the show, because sweet Mary Jane was found in his room.
But he lucked out this time because Joel was only asked to leave the hotel and will likely NOT be facing charges since he was allegedly in possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana.
A hotel official commented on the eviction of the Good Charlotte singer:
“He was not afforded any special treatment and he├óΓé¼Γäós moved out.”
We don’t know if we’re more shocked that people don’t get charged down there for possessing small amounts of marijuana or that celebrities don’t get special treatment!
But for realz, we’re glad this is all sorted and no bigger dramz escalated because you know how vicious stoners can be. LOLz!
