Contrary to John Stamos‘ tweet last week that proclaimed, “I am not replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.” It looks like John Stamos might actually replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.
Sources say Les Moonves, the head of CBS, approached the actor during a benefit at the Beverly Hills Hotel last week to talk business.
According to one source:
“They were at the bar talking and Les asked John if he’d be interested in replacing Charlie. It wouldn’t be to play Charlie’s character but they talked more about introducing a new character.”
The conversation supposedly lasted about 15 minutes and although it is uncertain whether more formal conversations will take place, Moonves’ wife Julie Chen and Paramount Pictures CEO Brad Grey chimed in and told Stamos they thought it was a great idea.
We understand that Stamos doesn’t want any bad blood with Charlie and certainly doesn’t want his name mixed in with this media mess, but we don’t think it’s a half bad idea either.
Let’s just hope Sheen’s fire-breathing fists don’t get to Stamos before CBS does. Ha!
Do U think John Stamos could replace Charlie Sheen’s character on Two and a Half Men?
