For the second year around, the sexiest Pirate ever the sail into cinemas has nabbed the #1 spot on the anuual Harris Poll of America’s Favorite Actors. Oddly enough, his work in The Tourist didn’t detour people away from loving them (although, it must’ve for Angelina Jolie; she was #5 last year and this year she dropped off completely!)
Strangely enough, it was the people who hadn’t made films this past year that rounded out the top five, with the exception of Tom Hanks. Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington tied for second place and following Hanks in fifth place is legendary screen icon John Wayne.
Hear that, Angie Pilgrim! You got bumped by the Duke!
Rounding out the list was George Clooney, Harrison Ford and the only female to make it this year, Sandra Bullock.
