While Johnny Depp was enjoying his Transcendence premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday, he was rudely interrupted to be subpoenaed.
Apparently, a woman named Nancy Lekon was arrested in 2009 for driving her limo through Skid Row in downtown L.A., hitting a pedestrian, dragging her for a mile, and ultimately killing her.
Horrible! Truly horrible.
And apparently Mr. Depp had something to do with it, according to Miz Lekon.
She’s pleading insanity in her murder trial this month, and says that she was in the area to meet up with Johnny because they were dating.
He can apparently prove that she’s nuts, according to her defense.
Likely, the 50-year-old actor will say that he simply doesn’t know the woman.
What a tragic and completely weird situation!
