Julianne Hough is trying her best to cope with the aftermath of divorce.
The 31-year-old TV star and professional dancer has had a rough go of it recently, struggling to cope with the fallout after she and now-estranged husband Brooks Laich officially split late last month after almost three full years of marriage.

An insider spoke to Us Weekly about the Grease: Live! alum’s emotional well-being and mental health situation now, not even a full month after going through the breakup. In fact, the popular celeb has even gone so far as to dye her hair a shade of brunette to more perfectly match her feelings and thoughts right now during this uncertain time.
The source spoke about the hairstyle change and more, saying:
“Julianne’s not doing great right now and feels like her brunette hair is a reflection of her feelings. She is super upset.”
Oh, no! Poor woman…
Of course, Hough has had quite a bit of time to be with her own thoughts on this matter. As you’ll recall, before their publicly-announced split, the 36-year-old former hockey player had moved up to the couple’s cabin in rural Idaho while Julianne stayed down in Los Angeles.
Choosing to quarantine away from each other during the coronavirus pandemic was clearly just the beginning of the end, then. What many suspected as a potential speed bump in the relationship came to fruition as the pair announced their separation in May, after several months physically apart by choice. Now, Hough’s emotional outlook on all this — and her hairstyle, for that matter — is rapidly changing as she copes with this ‘new normal’ post-Laich.

In a separate recent situation, Hough’s now seven-year-old blackface Halloween costume from 2013 is coming back to haunt her once again, too. Gabrielle Union brought that old controversial issue back to life recently with her scathing commentary towards her time on America’s Got Talent, where she and Hough previously worked together. The dancer further addressed her poor decision with that costume in a separate social media video earlier this week, as well.
