Justin Baldoni's Lawyer BLASTS Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds' SNL 50 Appearance!

Just as expected, Ryan Reynolds’ joke about Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni is already backfiring!

In an interview on Hot Mics with Billy Bush on Monday, the It Ends With Us director’s lawyer Bryan Freedman was asked what he thought of Ryan’s stunt during SNL 50, in which he stood up and joked about the ongoing legal battle, seemingly making light of the whole situation — despite the very serious allegations his wife has levied against Justin!

If you missed it, Ryan was asked how he was doing during an audience Q&A segment and he teased:

“Great! Why? What have you heard?”

It was obviously a reference to the ongoing court case, and everyone knew it. Even Blake looked stunned at the comment (though it’s unclear if she was in on the bit or not). Reports have already surfaced suggesting this could be a huge mistake for Blake’s case, and it seems like Justin’s lawyer would agree.

In the new podcast conversation, he addressed the joke candidly, saying:

“I’m unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been sexually harassed and has made jokes about that type of situation. I can’t think of anyone who’s done anything like that, so it surprised me.”

Oof.

We have a feeling this could come back to haunt ‘em as the legal case moves forward…

Remember, Blake has claimed that Justin’s actions and the lawsuit have caused her great distress – but suddenly her hubby’s joking about it on TV (after a judge warned them to stop making this case so public)?? It’s not the best look!
