Justin Bieber is back to pouring his feelings out on the ‘gram!
The pop star took to his Instagram Story on Sunday to open up about his complex feelings towards “hate.” In an all-caps post, the 31-year-old expressed:
“I was always told when I was a kid not to hate / But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it”

This only complicated matters as he grew up, he realized:
“Which made me feel like like [sic] I have been drowning feeling unsafe to acknowledge it”
Oof!
Now, the father of one believes it’s better to be honest about how he feels, concluding:
“I think we can only let hate go / By first acknowledging it’s there / How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?”

Damn. What’s he alluding to there?? It could be a number of things!
JB’s clearly been reflecting a lot on his past as he moves into a new chapter of his life as a dad. For instance, he’s cut off a TON of his former colleagues and mentors amid rumored controversies surrounding his past with Diddy. Fans have been worried about what might have gone down between the musicians when the Baby artist was just a young teen after Sean Combs‘ arrest. If there’s truth to any of it then we could understand Justin having a lot of “hate” he still need to deal with!
But he’s also been facing persistent divorce rumors amid his marriage to Hailey Bieber as well as concerns about his health and well-being amid speculation he’s using hard drugs, which his rep has already denied. There’s just been a lot going on in his orbit.
Is one of these issues the reason he’s feeling so much “hate”?? If so, it’s good to know he’s trying to figure out how to process it and move forward properly, but it’s also unsettling to continue to see all these cryptic posts! First, he felt “unworthy,” and now, he’s struggling to move past “hate.” It’s been a lot!
