Justin Bieber was very active online over the weekend, sharing several concerning posts — including an apparent dig at his wife Hailey Bieber!!
While teasing new music over the weekend — which some think might be reaction to ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s new record — the pop star shared a close-up shot of the model’s face with some damning lyrics splayed across her face! JB shared the pic on Sunday alongside Sade‘s song Jezebel, specifically the lyrics:
“But when she knew how to walk she knew / How to bring the house down / Can’t blame her for her beauty / She wins with her hands down”
Seems pretty normal at first glance, but it’s far from it…

The song is all about a woman who doesn’t come from much and fights for everything she’s got. You can listen to the full thing (below):
The actual word “Jezebel,” according to the Cambridge English Dictionary, means “an immoral woman who deceives people in order to get what she wants.” The word comes from the Bible and is often linked to sexual promiscuity and manipulation. Merriam-Webster describes it as “an impudent, shameless, or morally unrestrained woman.”
And this is how he’s referring to his wife — especially after that Selena stalker video series?? YIKES.
Just before posting this shady snapshot, the 31-year-old singer also shared a text-only slide, writing:
“I really tried to play nicey nicey”
It’s unclear what he was referring to.
Fans are currently divided on whether or not this song was truly meant to be an insult. See his supporters stand up for the selection first:

”Hmm. Whether or not Sade’s lyrics are meant to be a diss, just picking a song title with this dark meaning seems shady AF! We mean, Justin is very religious. Why tie his wife to this at all if he’s not trying to be insulting? There are plenty of other love songs he could’ve chosen if he was simply trying to hype her up, you know??
It’s worth mentioning, some reports have claimed one issue in the couple’s marriage is a major disagreement over religion. Could this be a reason he’s seemingly calling her out with a religious term?? Maybe!
With all this in mind, it seems like Hailey might’ve been annoyed by this apparent diss! According to some eagle-eyed fans, she UNFOLLOWED Justin on Sunday amid his weekend-long posting spree. But as of Monday morning, she is following him again. Huh. So, what does that mean? Well, it’s hard to know if she ever meant to unfollow him (or really did) considering other fans also noticed that at some point in the last 24 hours, the One Time crooner briefly deactivated his account, which could account for Hailey seemingly unfollowing him. Hmm.
