The Kansas City Chiefs are helping Travis Kelce get out of his performance funk in a fashionable way!
As we’ve been following, the tight end hasn’t exactly been bringing his A game this season. We all saw him looking completely defeated on the sideline during last week’s game, and compared to last year, his stats just aren’t on par three games in. He even fessed up to it during Wednesday’s episode of his and brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast. He said:
“We’re finding ways to win games, but we’re not playing our best football. Everybody can clean it up. I think everyone saw my drop in the fourth quarter with that crucial third down. I think with how defenses are playing us right now, I’m not really getting a lot of opportunities to make plays down the field, but not using that as an excuse. Moving forward, [I’m] still trying to make sure that I can help the team out in that regard.”
And while he may be fighting to get off the struggle bus, his teammates are giving him a necessary boost!

On Sunday, Rashee Rice, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Mecole Hardman showed up at their face off against the LA Chargers in custom Killa Trav t-shirts!
That’s right, the wide receivers had on black t-shirts that read in bold letters “Travis Kelce” next to a pic of the 34-year-old in action on the field! And on the back, the shirt read “Dreamathon,” which is the brand who made the design, over a collage of Travis. See (below):

As for why the players wore the shirts, CBS Sports reporter Tracy Wolfson claimed on X (Twitter):
“Rashee Rice got them for all the WRs to honor their leader and a guy who has mentored all of them especially Rice.”
