Kanye West has some big hopes and dreams for 6-year-old daughter North… and she’s got some pretty big shoes to fill if she truly wants to be like her dad one day!
The (adult) rapper is fresh off the Yeezy Season 8 show in Paris this week, but the show was effectively stolen by ‘Ye and Kim Kardashian West‘s beloved eldest child when she spit some fire rhymes. Of course, it turns out North’s viral video and coming-out party live performance was used without permission, but we digress… regardless, Nori proved she could really carry a tune and handle a crowd just fine!

And now, well, that live performance apparently has her dad thinking about what the future might hold for the talented little girl of uber-famous parents. It helps that she’s apparently fearless, of course, but as it turns out the little girl appears to have wanted to work in showbiz on her own for quite some time, anyways. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, after all!
According to an insider who spoke to Hollywood Life about North’s new career path in the wake of this past weekend’s fashion show, it sure sounds like rapping and singing have been on the table for quite a while for the precocious little kid.
The source dished more about it, saying:
“North idolizes her dad and has been saying for a couple of years now that she wants to be a rapper and a singer like him. So, this was a dream come true for her and definitely just the beginning. Kim is so proud of her, but what’s really touching is how Kanye reacts. He’s the definition of a stage dad. Truly nothing makes him happier than seeing her shine. And his belief in her is unlimited, he’s convinced she’s going to be a bigger star than he is one day.”

North is still incredibly young, of course, and this weekend’s live show really marked her first foray into, well, anything performance-related, but it already appears she’s picked up the right genes from dad.
