Kathie Lee Gifford has written a musical worthy of Broadway!
We wouldn’t have guessed the Today host was the type to sober up toil over a writing project after work. Clearly, we underestimated her!
After receiving rave reviews, KLG’s musical, Scandalous, is set to open November 15.
Here’s what we know about the show:
“The show stars Tony nominee Carolee Carmello as Aimee Semple McPherson, a real Pentecostal evangelist from the early twentieth century who was accused of faking her own kidnapping in 1926.”
She announced her big news on Today, while she and her co-host, Hoda Kotb, sipped on wine coffee.
