Kathie Lee Gifford Has Found Love Again 7 Years After Husband Frank’s Death!

Kathie Lee Gifford has found love again.

According to The Sun on Tuesday, the Today show alum has been dating someone — and they’ve been keeping their relationship on the down-low for a while now! One source close to Kathie Lee revealed she has been seeing businessman Richard Spitz from Nashville for over a year now, adding:

“Kathie Lee and Richard have been enjoying each other’s company for some time. They’re often spotted out and about in the Nashville area.”

And it sounds like Kathie Lee is head over heels for the 62-year-old! Another insider noted that the 69-year-old television personality is “smitten” with her man. Aww!!! They shared:

“She seems smitten and takes him everywhere. It’s surprising she’s kept the relationship under wraps for this long.”

While Kathie Lee and her new man have been keeping their romance private, the former Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee host previously teased that she had met someone back in April of 2021. All she said about her then-mystery boyfriend on Today at the time was:

“It’s just happy, and I don’t want to mess it up, and I probably already have by just even mentioning it. To be in a place where you feel like every aspect of your life is good, that nothing’s missing, that’s a beautiful place to be. I’m just so grateful. He’s the smartest person I’ve ever met, and he’s funny.”

Even more recently she made it very clear she doesn’t want to discuss her love life after spending years sharing everything with the world. Kathie Lee told People in August:

“I have someone very special in my life. I’ve discovered that by not talking about it, it stays special.”

She was last romantically linked to an insurance exec named Randy Cronk in 2019 after they were seen packing on the PDA during a concert, and he appeared on her Instagram page a few times. Clearly, that fizzled out at some point! Was it because she shared it?

Her new(ish) relationship seems to be the first big one since husband Frank Gifford‘s passing. They were married nearly 30 years when the NFL star died in 2015 at the age of 84. Hard to imagine how difficult it must have been to find love again after such a loss.
