How do you know you’ve arrived as a celebrity? When the food you eat gets to spend a day at the spa before it makes its way onto your plate!
Katy Perry, Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka chowed down on some VERY fancy sushi in Montreal on Monday night.
So fancy, the fish used for their meal had received acupuncture treatments beforehand!
What the WHAT now?!?
Chef Antonio Park (above) prepared this pampered delicacy for the A-listers that evening. It sounds like all of those needles really relaxed that raw fish because KatyKat tweeted about how delish everything was afterwards!
She told her Twitter followers:
Had the best sushi/wagyu from @ChefAntonioPark The wagyu was flown in this morning from JPN & the fish had previously had acupuncture #fancy

Well gosh, we gotta assume the fish flew first-class as well!
According to the restaurant’s web site, this isn’t such an uncommon practice! They explain:
“Fishermen insert needles so that the trauma of death is avoided, allowing the cut to remain exceptionally tender.”
And it looks like KP wanted to try some acupuncture out for herself too! The next day, she shared a pic on Instagram of her own back and neck filled with needles!
OMG! NOBODY BETTER EAT KATY PERRY!
