Kelly Osbourne fully supports her mom’s decision to have a preventative double mastectomy. We mean, why wouldn’t she?
Anyone who would disagree with this isn’t in their right mind. As you know, Sharon elected to have the procedure done when it was found that she had the gene for breast cancer. Having already had one type of cancer, she didn’t want to risk it.
Here’s what Kelly had to say about her mom:
“There was a lot going on, she did this genealogy testing and it showed that she did have the gene for breast cancer, and because she already had cancer she decided to get rid of it and rebuild them because she did have a breast augmentation. So she got rid of the ‘fun bags’ as I call them, and had her boobs done.
“I totally agree with her and why she did it, it is better to be safe than sorry, especially when you are a cancer survivor already.”
Sharon had colon cancer about a decade ago.
We can’t help but notice that it’s been a heavy year for that family. From Jack being diagnosed with MS, to Sharon’s double mastectomy — it makes us worry when we’ve been seeing Ozzy going to the doctor’s too.
Still, they are all so strong. We have nothing but love and respect for that whole family!
