Did anyone notice that Khloé Kardashian and sister Kourtney Kardashian were notably absent from the 2019 Met Gala?
While Kim Kardashian West stole the show in an unbelievable, corseted ensemble (sorry, Kanye West!), and Kylie and Kendall Jenner turned heads with lots of orange and purple “Camp” flare, their sisters were nowhere to be seen.
According to a new report, Khloé is reportedly blacklisted from ever attending the fashion world’s most lavish night out… because she’s considered too “C-list”!

Per Radar Online, Anna Wintour — Vogue‘s editor-in-chief and organizer of the famed event — must not be the biggest fan of KoKo, as she deemed her unworthy of an invite. Ouch!
As we mentioned above, just about every other KarJenner and their spouse, including Ky’s baby daddy Travis Scott, made the cut. Even momager Kris Jenner was there!
The outlet claims that Kourtney actually did land an invitation to this year’s party for the first time ever, but opted to stay home in El Lay with her sis and niece True Thompson out of support.
We have to ask, what makes Khloé more C-list than the rest of her sisters?
Well for starters, it’s no secret that Miz Wintour is extremely selective with the guest list. But there are some obvious clues out there pointing to which Kardashians have favor with the fashion icon.
Kim is one of Vogue‘s cover stars this year, and has attended the Met Gala for the last few years straight. First, as a guest of her superstar husband, and then eventually on her own merit. It’s safe to say that KKW was not missing her favorite event (seriously, she’s even said it’s more important than her own wedding!).
The Life of Kylie star and her 23-year-old model sister have also both attended the gala before, and appeared on international covers of the glossy!
Come to think of it, other guests like Gigi Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Lady GaGa, and Katy Perry, among others have all posed for Vogue too, so it could low-key be a factor.
The Stronger Looks Better Naked author has yet to achieve that honor. And if we’re keeping it 100 percent real here, maybe she just doesn’t have the high-fashion appeal that Wintour is looking for from her guests. Who knows!
There are other ways of getting into fashion’s biggest event, like scoring an invite from a designer or purchasing a ticket at whopping $30,000 per person, but ultimately the 69-year-old has the final say.
