Khloé Kardashian‘s sisters kind of expected this.
The Revenge Body alum is back in the news for more Tristan Thompson discourse this week. To a certain extent, Khloé brought it on herself after posting that gushing Instagram tribute to the ex-NBA player for his 32nd birthday back on Monday.
Immediately, her followers slammed her for the sweet post honoring her baby daddy. Then, the insiders jumped out of the woodwork with new intel about Tristan’s desire for romantic reconciliation. Then, Maralee Nichols reacted to the IG tribute. And then, Khloé delivered a bit of her now-patented cryptic style in a clapback calling out critics. And now, the sisters are weighing in!

On Thursday, Us Weekly cited a source who divulged new deets about how Khloé’s sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian feel about Tristan’s desire to reconcile. That insider admitted Kim and Kourt “aren’t surprised” about the former basketball star’s relentless romantic push:
“Kim and Kourtney aren’t surprised that Tristan is still trying to win Khloé back. She’s an incredible woman and anybody would be lucky to have her by their side. Khloé always gives a hundred percent in her relationships, and she is entitled to the same in return.”
To their credit, it sounds like the sisters are keen on taking the high road. After all, Tristan is father to Khloé’s kids — 4-year-old daughter True Thompson, and their 8-month-old baby boy:
“Although they’ve had their differences with Tristan, he will always be family as the father of their niece and nephew.”
Gotta appreciate that. The less drama for the kids, the better!
Of course, that doesn’t mean Khloé’s sisters don’t want her to find love, too. The Us Weekly source concluded with a rundown of what the Good American founder’s sisters are hoping will come to her in the realm of romance:
“It would take an amazing man to match the energy [Khloé] provides for a partner, and she deserves the world. … At the end of the day, all they want is for Khloé to find someone who supports her and makes her happy.”
Awww!
And that’s not all! With Khloé and Tristan back in the news again this week, the sources are swarming! Late on Wednesday night, ET quoted another insider who shared other new details about the ex-couple.

For one, just like how Kim and Kourtney evidently feel (above), this source was quick to claim Khlo-money is doing her best to work with Tristan on parenting probs. But!! She is NOT in love with him! So says the mole, at least:
“Tristan will always be in Khloe’s life, but she isn’t in love with him. She chooses to be supportive, both publicly and privately, for the sake of their children.”
In love or not, the insider nevertheless admitted that the Strong Looks Better Naked author does still risk falling prey to the longing call of romance. (Don’t we all? LOLz.)
The source explained:
“Khloe has the biggest heart and sometimes that is her downfall. She is forgiving, loves with everything she has, and is so loyal, but she is focused on co-parenting and taking care of herself right now.”
To that end, the insider explained the former late night radio DJ has been working hard to “set boundaries” with Tristan.
And interestingly, she’s finally at a place emotionally where she can dissect the hell he put her through with multiple infidelities and the whole Maralee Nichols paternity scandal:
“[Khloé] is in a good place and has set boundaries with Tristan. … she can finally talk about what he has put her through without being emotional.”
Wow!
The ET insider concluded with a reference back to Khloé’s always-concerned family, too:
“Kim and the rest of the family are proud of Khloé for putting herself first.”
So there you have it! Time will tell how this love story will (or won’t) go down, of course. But it sounds like there are a lot of positive things working in Khloé’s favor right now.
