While Kiefer Sutherland may be getting off easy in New York for now, he might be facing a different story in Los Angeles, where the actor is serving a 5 year probation sentence for his most recent DUI conviction.
According to the terms of the DUI, Sutherland must “obey all laws” and an LA criminal defense attorney not involved with the case explained that “if Sutherland’s found in violation of probation for battery, and if he was intoxicated at the time, he could very well be sentenced to another 48 days or more.”
LA City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan says that his office will be getting in touch with the NYPD regarding the case.
