Kim Kardashian West has done this before — three times, in fact — but the act of preparing her home and life for a new baby this time around is REALLY causing some stress and tension!
The reality TV star got candid about her anxiety on Sunday’s season 16 premiere of Keeping up with the Kardashians, during which she and Kanye West not only sat down for his first on-camera interview for the show, but also announced their surrogacy and the impending arrival of baby number four to their entire extended family!

Speaking at one point during the show to sis Kylie Jenner, Kim opens up about the full extent of her trepidation, admitting (below):
“I’m low-key freaking out. I didn’t think it was going to happen. I thought like ‘oh, it probably won’t even take.'”
Wow! Well, it **definitely** took, Kim… and that baby is fast on its way! LOLz!!
She’s not the only one madly preparing, though — Yeezy is fast getting ready to be a father to four, too!
In a rare sit-down interview at the very beginning of last night’s show, he got real about the baby on its way… and made a reference to how his family is fast becoming The Incredibles (below):
“This is my first time doing this. I’m not actually attempting to do good, I just like, part of the reason why I even thought about or considering doing this recording like— what do you call it? this interview — is because of the movie The Incredibles. It starts off with the interviews. The superheroes are giving interviews. The wife got a big butt and I just see our life becoming more and more and more like The Incredibles before we can finally fly.”
Um…. OK, Kanye! Whatever you say!
Later in the episode, the 38-year-old momma and her 41-year-old fashion designer husband make the big announcement about their baby boy in front of their entire family! They chose a family meal for the big reveal because they decided it was time for everyone to know, but also in part — as Kim later admits — because North West had already been telling people at school that she has a baby brother on the way, and Kim wanted to get out ahead of the five-year-old’s loose lips.

Oh, and don’t think for a second that Kim’s “freak out” mentality is only manufactured drama for the show! None other than the New York Times caught up with the couple this week, too, and Kim alluded to “madness” when asked about preparing a nursery and everything else for the coming baby boy:
“I’m frantically trying to get the room ready. It’s madness, but the best madness.”
Awww!
Won’t be long now until the kiddo comes — the due date is sometime next month — but hopefully that’ll give Kimye just enough time to get everything ready and be as prepared as they can be.
One thing is for sure… we can’t wait to see how this continues to play out on KUWTK across the rest of season 16!
