Another day, another round of mommy shaming.
Kim Kardashian West is getting dragged on social media — again — this time for letting North West wear what some fans thought was an inappropriate dress and lipstick combo to Kanye West‘s Sunday church service this week. Dozens of users called her out for what they felt was too much of an adult look for five-year-old North, and they weren’t shy about letting her have it!

Here’s the video that initially drew social media’s ire, which Kim posted as a clearly-proud momma ready to show off her gorgeous daughter’s dance moves at church (below):

But very quickly, Twitter users started descending on Kim to ask about North’s dress and lipstick choices, with plenty of questions and criticism for the KUWTK star and her parenting decisions.
Beware… Mommy-Shaming Ahead!
One user opened the foray with a subtle jab at the fact that North was wearing makeup (below):
“a child with a natural face is more beautiful and holy. It represents childhood because it shows innocence and the true”
And another one went right to the heart of the issue for many… calling out North’s too-old church look (below):
“Ummmmmm… She’s adorable but why so teenage looking.. Just my opinion…”
Others launched into a criticism of North’s lipstick:
“She’s adorable but why is she wearing lipstick to church? She’s too young for makeup in public.”
And again:
“#NorthWest is soo cute. Got that out of the way. Now why in the world does she have lipstick on?!?”
…And again:
“North West wears lipstick everyday like stop ruining her before she can even ruin herself gotdamn Kardashians”
…Aaaaand again:
“North is so beautiful too bad she’s already wearing makeup ???”
And once more, because, why not:
“this is cute and all but I must know, WHY TF DOES NORTH HAVE ON BOLD BLACK LIPSTICK”
Wow! While others wanted Kim to know that North’s dress wasn’t appropriate (at least, in their minds):
“Why the f*ck would anybody with even remotely anything of a braincell dress their 5 year old daughter like this??? So wrong…”
Hmmm…
Other users questioned not only the outfit, but the church itself:
“Cute and all but that’s not what church is about. Do they even have a preacher?”
With more (below):
“There is something really sad to me about seeing photos of 5 year old North wearing a feathered slip dress and black lipstick to ‘church’ services. Poor kid doesn’t stand a chance.”
But finally, somebody captured the real tenor of the comments section:
