Is Kanye West Releasing A Gospel Album?? Check Out What Kim Kardashian Posted!

Is Kanye West dropping a new album?

Yeezy season MIGHT be approaching!

On Thursday on Twitter, Kim Kardashian West shared a photo of a notebook containing what looks like the title and tracklist of husband Kanye West‘s possible upcoming album — out September 27.

Presumably called Jesus Is King, the supposed 12-tune LP appears to be of the gospel genre — given the various religious references in the song titles.

Additionally, the notebook sits next to a Bible, featuring the verse Psalm 57:6.

Reportedly, the tracklist is:

1. Glade
2. Garden
3. Seleh
4. God Is
5. Baptized
6. Sierra Canyon
7. Hands On
8. Wake the Dead
9. Water
10. Through the Valley
11. Sunday
12. Sweet Jesus

In April of this year, the rapper performed Water at his Coachella Sunday Service.

This begs the question…

While the musician was supposed to drop his previously announced ninth studio album, Yandhi, on September 29, 2018, it was pushed back to November 23, 2018 so he could travel to Africa to complete the project.

However, on November 12, he tweeted, “the new album… isn’t ready yet.”

In April, wife Kim talked to Elle magazine about her man’s Sunday Services — which usually feature a gospel choir and live band.

The KUWTK star divulged:

“It’s honestly more like a healing experience for my husband. It’s just music; there’s no sermon… It’s definitely something he believes in—Jesus—and there’s a Christian vibe. But there’s no preaching. It’s just a very spiritual Christian experience.”

Despite the “Christian” vibe, the mother-of-four said the event is inclusive to people of all faiths.

“[Sister Kourtney Kardashian’s] best friends come all the time and they’re Muslim. All my Jewish friends came on Sunday; they loved it. Everyone that comes understands it’s just a really healing experience with an amazing choir, and amazing messages about love to start off your week.”

That same month, a People source said Ye may start his own church, explaining:

“He has talked about starting his own church, and what exactly that would be… It wouldn’t be the traditional, 3-hymns-and-a-sermon thing. Instead, it would be a way to point people to Jesus through the arts and through a community of people who love and care for each other. He also wants his kids to be raised in faith, and the best way for him to do that is to live out his faith.”

All praise Yeezy!
