No, Kristin Cavallari won’t be part of MTV’s reboot of The Hills — but she’ll be watching it, probably!
Speaking with reporters backstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend, the Very Cavallari star said she’s just as “excited as everyone else” for The Hills: New Beginnings, which reunites the OG Hills cast sans Lauren Conrad and good ol’ Cav.
While the 31-year-old wasn’t able to sign on for the revival due to her own reality series obligations with E!, she said she still wants to “check it out” — and maybe even make an appearance, eventually.

She told Us Weekly at the event:
“I want to check it out. I’m kind of sad I can’t be part of it because I have my show. Heidi [Montag] and I have joked about swapping an episode so we’ll see. I’d love to be part of it in some little way if I can.”
Sounds like she’s waiting to see how it all plays out.
Just like the countless curious fans out there, Cav isn’t exactly sure what the upcoming MTV series will be about since the cast is older and more parental.

When asked if she thinks the revival will live up to the hype, the Uncommon James CEO said:
“I don’t know. We will see. I’m just as curious as everybody else. I don’t know what to expect. Everyone is a mom now so I don’t know if it’s everyone having play dates or what it’s going to be about but I will be checking it out.”
She may not be reuniting with the gang on the screen, but Cavallari said she still keeps in touch with her former castmates:
“I talk to Heidi. I talk to Brody [Jenner], Audrina [Patridge]. Definitely a good bunch of them, yeah.”
Definitely not LC.
Will YOU be watching The Hills: New Beginnings when it premieres next year?
