Kristin Cavallari is still going through it when it comes to co-parenting with her ex-husband Jay Cutler!
In a very short but telling comment about parenting with her ex in a new Interview Magazine profile published on Wednesday, the Laguna Beach alum got really candid about the struggles of her daily life post-divorce. When asked her thoughts on co-parenting, she simply dished:
“The ultimate test in life.”
Dang!

She didn’t offer any clarification on the comment or say anything else about her former lover. But, honestly, this says a lot on it’s own! Things clearly aren’t improving…
As Perezcious readers will recall, Kristin split from her ex Jay in 2020, and things have been pretty messy ever since. Back in December, the reality star opened up about the rollercoaster ride that is co-parenting on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast, calling the former NFL player a “pathological liar” with “zero f**king consistency.” Jeez!
She also noted that it’s been a “bumpy road” and “really hard.” At the time, she seemed most upset they couldn’t figure out how to co-exist for their kids, Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, pointing out:
“We sat together at a basketball game earlier in the year, and I was like, ‘Holy f**k, this is the best thing that’s ever happened. Jesus Christ, we made it. We can sit next to each other.’ And we haven’t sat together since, so I don’t f**king know. What the f**k?”
The Hills star also said she doesn’t think they’ll have another family holiday together, saying the whole thing “bums [her] out sometimes” because of her own upbringing, adding:
“Coming from divorced parents, the last thing I ever wanted was a divorce. I won’t lie to you. That still will creep up once in a while. … It just sucks that we’re not together as a family.”
Oof. It’s not easy to deal with a divorce, especially when things are as complicated as they are between her and Jay! Hopefully, one day they can figure this all out!
