After a couple months of rumors flying around, Marvel Studios officially announced today that Kurt Russell has joined the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2!
We’re not sure if this means Russell will, as heavily rumored, be playing Chris Pratt‘s father in the movie but we’re excited regardless!

The news that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy), Elizabeth Debicki (The Man From U.N.C.L.E), and Chris Sullivan (The Knick) are all joining is exciting enough, but in the comments section Gunn confirmed Klementieffs role saying:
