If the walls at Lance Armstrong‘s spacious 1.7-acre estate in Austin, Tex. could talk, what secrets would they divulge??
Well, if the new owner can get inanimate objects to talk, we’ll soon find out! LOLz!
The new owner took out a $3.1 million loan to purchase the Central Austin property. Originally the house was listed at $10 million; in 2012, the estate was listed for just $3.9 million!
There are no details on why he sold it, just that he did sell it. He once said that his kids would graduate and he’d still be in that home, but it sounds like that isn’t the case anymore. He purchased the estate back in 2004 and remodel and redecorated the hell out of it.
Here’s what he originally said about his home:
“When I walk into that house, I heave a sigh of relief: I am home. I take off my shoes, walk around barefoot, just feeling the rugs, floors. Home is very private; here, nobody├óΓé¼Γäós going to mess with me. It’s a very comforting feeling.”
Maybe the fact that he couldn’t join a swimming competition was the last straw, and he’s about to go try his luck in another state!
Either way, somebody got a sweet deal!
