What a sad time for Larsa and Scottie Pippen‘s family.
Following Larsa and Scottie’s divorce announcement, E! News revealed more info about the exes’ surprising split.

According to insiders, there were no third parties involved in the split (AKA Future) and that this was just a case of drifting apart. Apparently the basketball star has been preoccupied with his businesses in Chicago while the former reality star is keeping busy with the pair’s four children.
A confidante went on to explain:
“Scottie and Larsa have been separated for quite some time living separate lives. Scottie has been residing in Chicago where his businesses are while Larsa has been living in Miami full time raising their children.”
Well, this can definitely happen after almost twenty years of marriage…
As for the parents’ statements, they both requested “privacy” following the disappointing news.

Larsa:
“After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family.”
Scottie:
“This is a very difficult time for Mr. Pippen. He is hopeful that the divorce will be swift and amicable. We are respecting his request to protect his privacy and the privacy of his children during the dissolution of marriage proceedings.”
Aww… so heartbreaking. We’re just glad these two are handling things in a mature manner.
