But we all know the video in question was a sex tape featuring his wife, Rebecca Gayheart, and their pal Kari Ann Peniche!
Nearly five years after the ‘said tape’ was released, McSteamy is speaking out about the 2009 incident, and he’s clearly moved past the drama.
In the new issue of People, the former Grey’s Anatomy actor revealed his regrets:
“It was a mistake. We’ve all made mistakes. My one regret is that I got the person I love most wrapped up in all that: Rebecca. But we worked through it and put it behind us. We have two beautiful kids and our marriage is stronger than ever. I honestly think I am exactly where I’m supposed to be at this moment in time. And I’m really happy.
We love a good happily ever after ending!!
Pretty sure no one remembered the scandal until he brought it up — but we appreciate that the air and his conscience are now clear!
