LeAnn Rimes Does NOT Recommend Child Stardom To Anyone!

LeAnn Rimes wouldn’t wish child stardom on ANYONE!
As you may recall, the country crooner rose to fame when she was 13-years-old thanks to her cover of Bill Mack‘s Blue. In fact, back in 1997, Miz Rimes made history by becoming the youngest Grammy winner ever AND the first country artist to take home the Best New Artist award.

Still, the 34-year-old has since warned others about the difficulties that come along with being a young star. During a chat with People, the industry vet explained:

“I would not recommend it to anyone, but it’s my path, so I’ve accepted it and learned from it…I can really appreciate it at this point ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ all of it.”

It probably didn’t help that the How Do I Live singer’s tenure in the limelight faced some serious scandals. Specifically, LeAnn made headlines when she had an affair with Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi Glanville. The twosome eventually married in 2011.
Nonetheless, LeAnn hasn’t let her past stop her as she’s since reflected on her different controversies in her 16th studio album, Remnants. On her latest project, the former child star noted:

“It’s about allowing yourself to fall apart, picking up the pieces, moving forward and building yourself in a way that’s solid, which I’ve gone through. It was healing.”

Not to mention, fans weren’t always supportive of the blonde stunner — especially when she wanted to experiment with different genres. In regards to the flak she received for jumping between country and pop, Rimes shared:

“When I started crossing over, it was very taboo. You just didn’t do that. Country then really thought that you were running away from them and they were gonna disown you ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ which happened! I guess now, the lines are very blurred, which is great. I’m so happy for artists, period, that they get to just do whatever.
I don’t see boundaries in music. Those lines have always been erased for me. But, especially as a child, how do you expect a kid to grow up and not express themselves and change? I guess they did. But that wasn’t going to happen. I guess I’ve always been a bit of an outsider and a rebel in that way of, ├óΓé¼╦£I’m going to sing music I love to sing.’ But this place where I’m in now, I feel very settled; it feels really good.”

Good for you, girl! Here’s hoping the hitmaker continues to find success in the future and lives the rest of her days (relatively) scandal free.
