Goodness gracious!
How many lawsuits did he have over Tha Carter III?!
Just last month, Lil’ Wayne settled a $20 million lawsuit with producer Darius “Deezle” Harrison over royalties for the track Lollipop, and now, the rapper has once again cleared up another over the SAME album, this one from David Kirkwood for owed royalties for Love Me Or Hate Me!
Although Weezy apparently tried to get the judge to dimiss the case, but when that didn’t work, he, along with Cash Money and Young Money Entertainment decided to handle it out of work, and for an undisclosed amount!
Yeesh!
Here’s hoping that he learned enough of his lesson during that recording process to ensure that no more lawsuits will be filed against him for songs on any of his subsequent albums!
AKA pay what you owe, boy!
