What Breakup?? Lili Reinhart Calls Cole Sprouse 'My Boyfriend' In New Interview!

Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse appear to be back together!

Lili Reinhart is NOT mincing her words!

After it was reported the Riverdale actress and co-star, Cole Sprouse, split after almost two years of dating, she posted their joint W Magazine cover on Instagram, with the caption: “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know s**t.”

In an interview with Coveteur conducted on Friday but posted on Sunday, the Hustlers star pretty much confirms the two are back together.

After the publication noted the 22-year-old is “pretty good at special-effects makeup,” they asked her what she is going to be for Halloween. She replied:

“I am! Oh my god, I haven’t done that in a really long time, actually. I kind of went from special-effects makeup to face painting. So I’ve done a lot in the past. Now I don’t really have the time, which sounds so stupid, but I really don’t. It takes a lot of time to do those things. I think I’m leaning in towards a character for Halloween. I think I’m going to do it with my boyfriend, Cole. I don’t want to spoil it if it’s not going to happen, but it’s a TV duo.”

“My boyfriend”?? What a way to set the record straight!

Of course, this relationship update is not entirely surprising. While attending Variety‘s Power of Young Hollywood event at The H Club Los Angeles in August, Sprouse laughed off the breakup gossip, saying, “that’s the nature of [his] industry.”

In her interview, Reinhart also discussed how she got involved in the upcoming stripper flick, where she appears alongside Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, and Constance Wu. She divulged:

“It was so well written. [Director/screenplay writer] Lorene [Scafaria] is so talented. When I first read the synopsis, ‘big hustlers’ popped up in my inbox, and I was like ‘OK?’ and then it was like, ‘Strippers get revenge on Wall Street men,’ and I was like, ‘oh god, what is this?’ Then I saw Constance’s name attached, and Jennifer’s name, and Lorene as the director, and then I was like, ‘This is actually something. The synopsis is not doing it justice here.’ Even today, the trailer doesn’t do the film justice. You think you have an idea of what this movie is going to be, [that] it’s going to be a party for an hour and a half, but it’s really not like that. You get an hour of a nice party going on, but after that it gets really intense and emotional. [You] realize that you’re actually getting stories of these women and who they are. It’s not just like, ‘Oh, it’s a movie about strippers,’ it’s a movie about women who strip. You watch the film and you’re like, ‘Wow, that movie was about women and this sisterhood that they are in, and they’re trying to fend for their families and themselves.’ It’s a good story.'”
