Lily Collins and her The Mortal Instuments costar Jamie Campbell Bower have reportedly left the City of Bones for Splitsville.

Break ups are always hard to do, but this one could be an EXTRA doozie as The Mortal Instruments is coming out later THIS month!

But the British babes have been handling the big behind-the-scenes change like pros. Says a source:

“They’ve been really good about doing the press tour together for their movie. They were able to stay friendly.”

No word on how long the two have been separated personally, but it was just earlier this week that they were gushing about each other’s professional talents like everything was groovy, baby.

Guess that British stiff upper lip thing is for realz.

The pair, whose characters are romantically involved in The Mortal Instruments, were first noted as romantically involved themselves a year ago, during the movie’s filming in Toronto.
