The word is out that Limp Bizkit have broken up!
No, this is new news, we swear! Yes, this year!
Seriously, this just happened! Or did it?
Frontman Fred Durst said:
“… in 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it’s over.”
But is the band really done?
Guitarist Wes Borland wants everyone to know that this was all a misunderstanding, like their cover of George Michael‘s Faith, and Limp Bizkit is still together. He tweeted:
“LB has not called it quits. That article is insane. Thanks for your concerns, but we’re all good over here.”
So, you guys called just to let us know that you were fine?
Congrats, Limp Bizkit. You are officially the Melanie Griffith & Antonio Banderas of rap/rock.
