Her latest tune, Back To Me, seems to signal a return to her old life (pre-Mykonos reality show and time away from the spotlight), and we couldn’t be happier to hear that she’s back! The Parent Trap star confronts her many years in the spotlight as a child/teen star, and how she’s come out now stronger because of those experiences.

Just take a look at some of the lyrics (below):

“My life is full of ripped up pages / I’ve been weak, contagious / But I’m coming back, I’m coming back to me / Oh, but I know that everything changes.”

On Wednesday, the songstress teased her new track on Twitter and wrote:

“The song is about rediscovering and accepting oneself, shutting out the noise and moving forward and letting the past go. Living in the now.”

At the start of the year, LiLo joined co-hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen for a special virtual interview where she opened up about her plans for 2020:

“Yes, I do. I’m managing my sister, so I want to really focus on me and everything that I can do in my life and come back to America and start filming again, which I’m doing something soon in this new year. And, you know, just taking back the life I’ve worked so hard for and sharing it with my family and you guys.”

We’d say getting started making music again is a great way to get her life back!

As you’re likely aware, the 33-year-old already has two albums under her belt. In 2004, she dropped Speak, and a followup A Little More Personal (Raw) the following year.

In August 2019, she dropped a snippet of a new song titled Xanax, and teased it again later in the year. This came after signing a record deal with Casablanca Records. Linds announced in January of this year that her first new album in 15 years would be released at the end of February. Miz Lohan has been teasing her musical return for quite some time, though she hasn’t given an update on any album news.

In the meantime, give Back To Me a listen for yourself (below):
