Little Shop of Horrors To Be Remade AGAIN!

Little Shop of Horrors To Be Remade AGAIN!

Little Shop of Horrors
Third times the charm. Maybe.
The WB wants to cash in on the musical trend by remaking Little Shop of Horrors — for the SECOND time!
Glee producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is in talks with the studio that produced the musical’s first movie remake in 1986, to pen a brand new version.
The original Little Shop of Horrors came out in 1960. The second, more popular version by Frank Oz starring Rick Moranis, Steve Martin and Ellen Greene, was released in 1986.
Obvi, Warner Brothers thinks it’s lucky to remake a movie every 26 years. LOL 🙂
Is it even possible to top the Miss Piggy Oz remake?
If it is, Aguirre-Sacasa is probs the right fella for the job. He has plenty of experience in musicals and remakes; He wrote/fixed the broadway show Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark and the recent Carrie remake.
If they do decided to give this a green light, we hope the Little Shop remake turns out better than the second Hairspray!
