A local anglophile is coming to Princess Catherine and Prince William‘s defense!
After the royal couple was spotted at Windsor Farm Shop over the weekend in a new video released by TMZ on Monday, fans were convinced it was yet again another fake sighting. The internet’s already on edge after the photoshopped Mother’s Day pic and body double rumors. All kids of theories have spread amid concerns for the Princess of Wales’ health and whereabouts, so when the woman in the video didn’t look enough like Kate Middleton, everyone freaked out — and tons more rumors emerged.
But not all the focus was on the future queen this time. One of the most suspicious parts of the video was the fact one eagle-eyed sleuth noticed there were Christmas decorations set up behind the husband and wife as they walked outside the shop. Considering it’s mid-March, that’s ODD AF! So was the sighting real? Or was it actually from several months ago?!? Thankfully, we finally (sorta) have answers!

A local fan actually hit up the royal hot spot on Tuesday and confirmed all the holiday decor is still up! Taking to X (Twitter) with photos and a literal receipt, the user revealed:
“So I can confirm, live from Windsor Farm Shop, that the pods are still here and so are the lights/decorations. I commented to staff I thought it’d be busy due to our famous guests. They just laughed [shrug emoji] Spent £12.67 I didn’t need to as well. Receipt attached”
Love that the amateur detective included an actual receipt! In these trying times, nobody is gonna believe anything about the royals without undeniable proof — and sometimes that’s not even enough, as we’re now seeing! Check out the latest evidence (below):

Yup, those are the same wooden huts and decorations William and Kate strolled past over the weekend! So, it seems like this video certainly could have been new… but the verdict is still out on whether it was really Kate! LOLz!
