Such bittersweet news!
With the new year upon us all, this brings the return of the last season of Mad Men which means everyone is both happy and sad at the ending of the wildly popular AMC show.
Well, at the winter Television Critic’s Association panel for the Mad Men creator Matt Weiner, Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, John Slattery, January Jones, Vincent Kartheiser, and Christina Hendricks revealed exactly when the final seven episodes will be returning to the airwaves!

Viewers can expect to see the show back on AMC on Sunday, April 5th! What a great Easter surprise!
However, that’s (sadly) all that was revealed about the episodes, minus the fact that the stories focus on the “core” members of the cast.
Well, that AND all the members agreed about the ending of the show — it surprised them all!

However it was Jon Hamm’s comments that surprised the world! He said he can’t wait to be unemployed!
Tinged with sarcasm, of course.
He said:
“Oh, yes, I’m thrilled that it ended. Thrilled to be unemployed. Thrilled that I will never see any of these people again. Great, that’s really great…. Hashtag sarcasm.”
LOL! We’re sure that his comments were just cleverly disguised sadness at the show’s ending!
What do YOU think? Are YOU excited for the last seven episodes of Mad Men?
