And the final piece of the Rock Of Ages puzzle is in place!
Malin Akerman has joined the cast, after the director struggled to find someone suitable with the time to do it, and she’ll be getting mad rutty with Tom‘s character!
Here’s who she’ll be playing:
Malin Akerman is set to play the role of Constance, a journalist who intends to write an expose on decadent rocker Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise). After a seduction, and after they sing a duet on the Foreigner song I Want To Know What Love Is, they find out in a naughty bedroom romp.
She was great in Watchmen, where she saw her fair share of blue peen, but she didn’t sing about it so we haven’t heard her voice. But, we think she’ll be PERFECT for the role look-wise!
Plus, this just adds to the awesome, full plate that she has coming up:
Akerman is currently shooting Medallion opposite Nic Cage and will next be seen starring with Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston in the Universal Pictures comedy Wanderlust, as well as Bang Bang Club.
Can’t wait to see them, can’t wait to see Rock of Ages, and congrats Malin!
Do U guys agree with this casting choice??
