Wow! If this whole acting thing doesn’t work out, it sounds like Matthew McConaughey might have a bright future as a marine biologist!
The Oscar-winning actor was recently surfing in Malibu (as he does on most of his off days) when he noticed a group of children poking a baby seal on the beach with a stick!
Matty quickly rushed to the pup’s aid, and according to sources he gave the kiddies a LONG lecture on the negatives of poking baby seals with sticks! The insider says:
“Matthew told the kids the seal wasn’t hurt, it was resting and sunning itself – and that young pups do this all the time while the mother seal’s swim close by until they are ready to re-enter the sea. After a 20-minute lecture on sea life, the kids were so anxious to get away that they didn’t even bother to ask the star to pose for a photo.”
Ha! We’re guessing the kids were a little too burned out for a selfie at this point!
Regardless, it’s probably a good thing Matty gave these kids a lesson before they seriously hurt the baby seal, or worse, they would have had to deal with one angry momma seal!
That definitely would NOT have been alright alright alright!!
